“The woman of valor is first and foremost a soldier. She is strong, competent, and loyal to her family, those whom she protects. She is strict when necessary, unbreakable when tested, and hard-working for the sake of her family and community. As strong as she may be, the woman of valor is also more graceful and beautiful than a pearl.” – Yael Eckstein
Our mission is to let women Veterans know they are not alone, and we as a community are ready to work together to equip you with necessities for life. Each one, reach one, teach one.
- Recognize, honor, celebrate, and empower women Veterans.
- Provide an avenue for Veteran community networking and support
The Knoxville Outpatient Clinic has approximately the same amount of women veteran clients as the veteran hospital in Johnson City, TN. Even though there is a large population of women veterans located here currently, there has not recently been an event recognizing our women veterans or informing them on recent VA program changes. We will need the support from not only sponsors but also from veteran advocates like yourself. Thank you for your commitment.
